    I love Shih-tzus! I think we'll get one again someday. Right now we have a young Jack Russell, and she is CRAZY but very sweet!

    Cheasapeake Bay Retriever--we had one when I was a teenager and he was the best dog ever! His name was Disco (you know since he was a duck dog-LOL)

    I think Yorkies are adorable, but my husband likes English Bulldogs. One of the many reasons we don't have a dog:)

    4 months ago, I would've said a Basset. But 3 months ago, we got a baby ShihTzu who is the most precious thing ever to hit our family. So I'll go with ShihTzu.

    So glad you are back to blogworld. Missed you. Have enjoyed all the travel stories and pictures. So I had to put a plug in for my favorite breed the Pug!

    Our pug is General Beauregard. Beau for short. Pugs are so funny and sweet and they love everybody. I've had many dogs over the years, but the Pug will always have a special place in my heart.

    My favorite breed of dog is positively, absolutely a weenie dog (aka dachshund) :) They are the best! So loving and affectionate!!!

    If I have to pick just one it will be the Swiss Mountain Dog. God, I just love them. Of course any large breed is great, especially mutts.

    I would have to say my favs are the ones that have touched my life. My first dog was a yorkie, I miss her everyday. My second dog is a Labrador, she's a big goof ball and makes me laugh. We recently added two Shih-Tzu's to our home. These boys bring joy and frustration everyday, but mostly joy.

    Hehe...a lot more of us read your blog than you think!! I love my pekingese mix - he looks like he's always grinning, and stays puppy-looking even as a grownup, with his perked up ears and fluffy fur. And there's usually a lower fang stuck outside his mouth - too funny!

    The breed of my dog a Coriashoe.
    A cross between a Corgi and shih tzu. Big ears and short legs. Looks like a shih tzu with ears that stand staight up.

    Well, my granddog is a pit bull. Until I met her, I believed all the stereotype hype about them; but now I dont think I'd have anything else. I've been babysitting her while my son is in Iraq and we've developed quite a bond. She really has many of the cute traits of any other three-year old granddaughter.

    Golden retrievers, I think. Sometimes I wish we had a dog for my little girl, but practicality always wins out....

    We've never been able to have a dog; RedDaddy is allergic. :(
    If I could choose it would be a toss-up between a Yorkie and a Dachshund.
