Shoes, Sandals and Other Important Things

I enjoy shoes.

I would say I love shoes, but I don't really love them like a family member. I just really enjoy a cute pair of shoes.

Now that I am "older", comfort wins over the mule I slide out of or the tall heel where I have to shuffle.

I also tend to go for the easy...flip flops. Reef flip flops in particular. My feet love them.

I even put on flip flops with my wedding dress after I took my heels off...but that's a story for another day.

I've been looking at the shoe sites on the Web and quite frankly, I am appalled.

Do you guys think the gladiator look is a good one? Am I just really old and out of touch?

They just look so...bunchie or something. Way too fussy and heavy looking.

Let me have it Peeps...am I outdated?

You need Yellowbox Flip Flops! They are so cute and have so much BLING!! I like them better than reefs. Hubs says if I buy one more pair I could open my own shoe shop!!

Gladiator sandals are AWFUL. I hate them. Seriously - I think they're just about the ugliest shoe imaginable.

The gladiator look is really ugly. But the other problem is they touch your feet is so dang many places. Yuk! I'm with RR Mama, Yellow Box rocks.

Gladiators are just a fad. Fads go in and out of style, but cute shoes and flipflops rise way ABOVE the fad status!!

How out of touch am I? What the heck is a Gladiator sandal...oh Mighty Google, tell me.

Living in Armpit, FL as I do, flip-flops are manditory!! Love Yellowbox, but usually settle for Target ;)

Not a fan of gladiator for myself, but I have seen some people wear it and they pulled it off just fine. I PREFER flip-flops any day when the weather permits.. Cold weather requires that I wear cowboy boots, 90% of the wintertime!

I completely agree with you about the gladiator sandals. I love shoes but agree that they've got to be comfortable. I've hear about Reefs but have never owned a pair.
I think they will be at the top of my list for the warmer weather, if it ever comes to PA.

I LOVE SHOES:) Did I say I love shoes? Okay well I DO! Some new styles I must say have grown on me, it wasn't a love at first sight sort of thing. So I haven't completely loved the Gladiator heels, but I do love the simpler flat gladiator sandals. The ones I have are gold and I always get compliments on them. So I say "Go for it!" :)
