Some of the Peeps are very curious about the kissing proficiency of Mr. Wonderful.
Why do you think I'm calling him Mr. Wonderful? Heh Heh
Dating someone from another country/culture/time zone/whatever is sometimes a challenge.
Today Mr. Wonderful and I drove to another town to meet his children and their fams.
They were so nice to me. I felt very comfortable and very welcome.
At lunch time...Mr. Wonderful had made South African potato salad and his son grilled for everyone.
The meat? Sheep. Yep. Sheep.
I informed Mr. Wonderful that in Chaos, USA, we don't eat our pets, but he still insisted I take a bite.
It really wasn't bad. Out the window from the kitchen I saw a little bitty goat sitting by a doghouse (goathouse?). I made the mistake of saying, "What's that?"
Simultaneously, the whole table said, "Bubbles." and "Thanksgiving Dinner."
I made a point to go outside and meet Bubbles the Goat so I could claim a personal relationship with him and therefore he is inedible to me.
I think I'll make plans to travel elsewhere for Thanksgiving...

Easter... about 10 years ago... my sister opened up the refrigerator at her Greek in-laws' house... and found a lamb inside of it. Yes, she truly does live "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." She even had to state quite clearly that there would be no spitting at her wedding. Heh.
Loving that you're blogging again, loving the story... keep sharing! :)
Bubbles? Oh my!
My grandfather raised a few cows for a few years. He named them after each of his grandchildren...then he/we ate them. Yeah, Kenny-burgers tonight, Laura-steaks tomorrow. Scary!!
Sounds like Mr. Wonderful is...well, wonderful. I'm thrilled for you!! Life is looking up for us too...God is on the move my friend :)
Go to Queen B's for Thanksgiving and make sure Mr. Wonderful brushes his teeth before he kisses you after eating Thanksgiving dinner.
On my first trip to Ireland when I was still dating my husband we spent the day driving through the Ring of Kerry looking at all the cute sheep. Then my father-in-law and the Irishman ordered lamb for lunch. It still seems so wrong...
Oh, I dont think I could do sheep.
OK Mimi... we're in September now; time for another installment. ;)
BM stop kissing and come back.
Hellloooo?!! Have you eloped??? LOL
The only acceptable excuses will be that you are helping to pack at QB's. Or unpack. Or, you've been to visit La P and have pictures to share.
Or, you have another juicy, romantic story to share.
