Don't Play With Scissors

Have I ever mentioned what a klutz I am? I didn't think so.

I am an accident waiting for a place to happen.

As we have been cleaning and redecorating the Love Shack, I had the occasion to open a box. I used these.

BIG MISTAKE! BIG. HUGE. (sorry for the bad photography...I'm injured)
I KNOW. Terrible isn't it?

Because of the location of the cut and poor first-aid skillz on my part...I had to go to Urgent Care to get it glued/butterflied shut.

After I gave my life history...there were at least 15 different pages to sign and put in my newly made chart.

I thought this was a little over-kill...

I was the only patient in the whole complex. I don't think they were going to lose me. However, I do think they were excellent and very professional.

At least it gets me out of doing the dishes. I get to sit on the balcony and watch this...

You know that you are supposed to stay away from all sharp objects, Mother. There has never been a time it has turned out well.

Hey, anything to get out of dishes I suppose. Do you think it will work with laundry? I have some sharp scissors, too.

Oh, my lands. Do you at least have a bald guy waiting on you hand and foot?

Oh my word. I know that can hurt. Hope you're okay, and glad that the urgent care wasn't crowded!

Yee-ouch!! That's it young lady, you are grounded from the scissors. Forever!

I'm still serving a lifetime grounding from the super glue. I glued one to many fingers together with it and *poof* my husband has banned it from our house.

Sorry you are suffering so badly with that sunset and all.

Beautiful view! I'm prone to mishaps myself. Anytime I go to cut or chop anything everyone in my family feels the need to tell me to be careful. It's annoying, but they mean well. I think it's because they are squeemish and don't like the site of blood.

P.S. I love that you are a klutz with 'poor first-aid skillz'.

Blessings

Yikes. Don't feel bad. I once had to get stitches because I cut myself with a butter knife. A butter knife, mind you.

OUCH! Anything to get out doing the dishers. Hubs broke his elbow when R8 was a baby. I think he did it just to get out of changing diapers. Any cute doctors at minor care? Hoep you get better soon!
