THANKS, PEEPS.

A very big thank you to the two Peeps that actually read my stuff.

There are so  many wonderful blogs I really do appreciate you taking the time to stop by here.

BECAUSE I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY.

I'm having leftovers for supper.   My laundry is almost folded.  My hair is pulled back in a bun.  I have on

sweatpants.  A tee shirt.  And bare feet.

No wonder I have no more readers. hahah

Last night I did a big booboo.   I dislike hair on my body.   Gross, I know.

I have waxed, lasered and Naired my arms for years with various results.  It works and I am happy and feel

more feminine.   I'm just weird.

I shave my legs everynight with shaving cream.    So far so good.

As I'm aging, I am noticing more facial hair...or rather thickening of blonde facial hair on my cheeks.

No one else notices it..  It may be the 10X mirror I use for plucking that makes me feel so...hairy.

I might add that I am addicted to plucking .   That's why I have the 10X mirror.  I have more Tweezerman's

that some stores.   All for various stages of eyebrow growth. (we will not talk about chin hair)

So, last night ( I have a  LOOOONG nightly ritual when I bathe.   Bubbles, TV , plucking, powdering,

lotion)

I decided that I would just put the hair removal product on my FACE.    Am I just stupid?

Obviously.  I noticed it was stinging but thought nothing of it.

Then  ZING my face was On Fire.   I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed and rinsed.

Then I slowly started swelling and blotching and looking like Will Smith did on Hitch when he ate the

seafood.

The good news!   I have no hair on my face (except eyebrows)

The bad news!     I have lost a layer of skin and it HURTS.

Now, aren't you glad you know this?

Love ya, Peeps.

Okay, well I feel better...I'm not the only one who's done that! I wax pretty much my whole face...lip and cheeks anyway. Oddly, I still tweeze my eyebrows. I have taken seriously deep layers of skin off my face by using the wrong wax (here is where I admit the depth of my stupidity) multiple times. I finally found Sally Hansen wax strips FOR FACE.

And I'm totally with you on the need for smooth. I have an electric razor that I use on arms and legs, pretty much every day.

Yep, we were separated at birth. ;)

What did you use to remove the hair on your face? I have some Nair that is safe for all over ... but the problem hairs I have are on my upper lip, and I'm afraid that I'll get spastic and get some in my mouth. That can't be good. So I continue to pluck. ;-)

I cannot remember how I came across your blog. It was probably a friend of a friend of a friend...

Your blog always makes me smile, laugh or both and laughter is great for the soul. Thanks for allowing others to share in your life. You actually are helping me better understand my teenage daughter who insists on plucking the one or two blond hairs around her belly button!

Ohhh... I was so afraid your story was going to end that way. So, so sorry! Be careful and perhaps see your doctor as chemical burns can be just as bad as heat burns!

And, no, we won't discuss chin hairs. Not that I'm admitting to having any.

I can't even imagine! But I do have a sort of similar story.

When we were coming to the Detroit area to househunt about two years ago (Hubby retiring from military and we lived in VA at the time), I had a couple of shirts that would require me to have well-shaved armpits. I can't shave every day or I'll get infected hair follicles, so I decided the morning we were leaving I'd nair my armpits before I showered.

I noticed they were stinging. I thought I'd be okay. I did wipe everything off before the time was up because it got pretty intense.

I burned my pits. To top it off, I had shingles at the same time. I was a complete mess!
